Resort Policy

Welcome to Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel! To help ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for all of our guests, please take a moment to review the policies below before and during your visit.

Reservations & Guest Registration

We require complete contact details from the guest making the reservation, including full name, address, phone number, and email. All individuals staying in the room must be registered and provide valid identification, such as an ID or passport. Upon check-in, guests must verify their identity by presenting a valid government-issued photo ID at the reception.

Direct booking through our website is non-refundable. Room reservations are available exclusively for families and mixed-gender groups. Kindly note that bookings for men-only groups are not permitted.

The hotel reserves the right to review and ensure that all bookings comply with this policy. Any violation of the policy may result in the cancellation of the booking.

Check-In & Check-Out 

Check-In
Our Check-In Time Is 3:00 PM

Check-Out

The Hotel’s Check-Out Time Is at 12:00 PM.

• 25% Rate Charge shall be applicable for late check-out until 4:00 PM only.
• 50% Rate Charge shall be applicable for late check-out until 6:00 PM only.
• 75% Rate Charge shall be applicable for late check-out until 8:00 PM only.
• Check-out after 8:00 PM will have a full night charge.

Check-Out Procedures

• Guests must check out at the reception desk.
• Guests are required to hand over their keys to the reception staff.
• Failure to check out at the reception or to hand over the keys will result in a deduction from the Security Deposit.

No-Show Charges

Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date for a guaranteed reservation will result in a No-Show fee. Guests will be charged for the first night, plus an additional No-Show fee that may vary depending on the season or holiday period, up to a maximum of three nights.

Security Deposit

All guests are required to pay a Security Deposit at check-in. The deposit amount varies depending on the type of suite booked, as detailed below.

Usage Deposit

• The Security Deposit is used to cover any damages to the room or late check-out charges.
• Should there be no damages or late check-out charges, the full deposit will be refunded.

Maximum Occupancy

The maximum number of guests that can stay in our hotel based on fire safety restrictions are listed as follows:

If you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be asked to rent another guestroom for proper accommodation.

A limited number of extra beds and baby cribs are available upon request, based on availability on the day of check-in.

Visitor Policy
This policy is in place to ensure the safety, comfort, and security of all our guests, and to maintain a peaceful environment throughout the hotel.

10:00 Am to 7:00 Pm

• Visitors are welcome to visit guest rooms.
• All visitors are required to pay the regular day pass fee upon arrival.

7:00 Pm to 11:30 Pm

• Visitors are welcome to visit guest rooms on weekdays only. Weekends require a valid pass, purchased through our reservations link.
• All visitors must register at the front desk upon arrival.
• Visitors must leave their Emirates ID at the front desk and collect it upon departure before 11:30 PM.
• IDs will be returned to visitors when they leave the hotel.
• The maximum number of visitors allowed varies according to the room category, ranging from 2 guests to a maximum of 6 guests.

No In-Room Party Policy

Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel enforces a No In-Room Party policy to ensure the comfort, safety, and privacy of all our guests, as well as to protect hotel property at all times.

We kindly ask guests to refrain from hosting parties or creating loud disturbances, to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone.

• In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be issued to reduce the noise.
• If our request is not respected, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel premises without any refund.
• The registered guest(s) is responsible for all persons visiting their room. Non-registered visitors are permitted only until 11:30 PM, and all visitors must present a valid ID upon request.
• If additional persons not listed on the guest registration form are found in the room after 11:30 PM, the stay will be considered a party, and the guest will be required to vacate the premises immediately without refund. The hotel also reserves the right to charge a disturbance or guest compensation fee.

Gathering Policy
To ensure the comfort and privacy of all our guests, gatherings in front of guest rooms, in corridors, or directly around accommodations are strictly prohibited.

Permitted Areas for Gathering
Guests may gather only in designated public areas, such as the beach, pool, restaurants, bars, or other hotel-approved common spaces.

Prohibited Areas
The areas immediately outside guest rooms, walkways, and corridors are not considered public gathering spaces. Guests are not permitted to move chairs, tables, or other furniture into these areas, nor to sit or stand in groups that may disturb the comfort or privacy of other guests.

Kids & Family Policies

Kids Policy
This policy applies only on days when events are being held at the hotel.
Children aged 18 years and below are not permitted after 8:00 PM in the following areas: DJ Area & Restaurant, Main Bar, and Sunset Bar.
All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times while on hotel premises.

Hotel Guest Wristband Policy

• Guests are required to wear their wristbands securely at all times during their stay, as this policy ensures the safety, comfort, and convenience of all guests.
• Upon arrival, a member of our team will personally attach the wristband to each guest’s wrist. Team members are not authorized to hand out unattached wristbands.
• Guests requiring a replacement or adjustment should visit reception for assistance.

Towel Policy For Hotel Guest

• Upon check-in, guests will receive towel cards according to their room type. These cards can be exchanged for towels at the towel booth.
• At check-out, guests are required to return all towel cards to the reception.

Failure to return a towel card will result in a charge of AED 50 per card.

Damage to Rooms & Property

• Any damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishings, or equipment, including the removal of electronic devices, linens, or towels, will be charged at 150% of the full replacement market value, whether accidental or intentional.
• All repair and replacement costs will be charged to the registered guest responsible for the room.

Food & Beverage Outside Food Policy

If a guest orders food delivery, they are required to collect their order from the hotel reception. Delivery personnel are not permitted to enter guest rooms or accommodation areas.

Guests may bring their own food and beverages for consumption inside their rooms only. Bringing outside food or drinks into the hotel’s restaurants, pool, beach, or other public areas is strictly prohibited.

Barbecue Policy

Barbecuing is strictly prohibited within the hotel and resort premises.

It is only permitted in the designated barbecue area located at the beach.

Shisha Policy

Guests are not permitted to bring personal shishas into the hotel. Only electronic shishas provided by the hotel are allowed for use inside guest rooms.

The use of charcoal in hotel rooms is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy — including bringing personal shishas or using charcoal — will result in a fine of AED 700.

Parking Policy

• All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
• Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel assumes no liability or responsibility for any vehicle, its occupants, or contents while operated or parked in or near the hotel property.
• Hotel guests are entitled to complimentary parking based on their room category.
• A third-party company manages valet parking to ensure convenient traffic flow for all guests. This is a paid service.

Smoking & Pet Policy

• Guests must select their preference for smoking/non-smoking and dog-friendly/non-dog-friendly rooms at the time of booking.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in non-smoking rooms in accordance with hotel regulations and local law. Violations will result in a cleaning fee of AED 500.
• Similarly, pets are permitted only in designated dog-friendly rooms. Bringing pets into non-designated rooms will result in a violation fee of AED 500.

Breakfast Buffet Policy

• Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
• The buffet is complimentary for guests on a bed & breakfast rate.
• Outside guests are welcome to join by purchasing a breakfast pass.
• Proper attire is required in the breakfast venue at all times. Beachwear such as bikinis, as well as bare feet or being shirtless, is not permitted.
• Breakfast is not available to go, and buffet items may not be taken to guest rooms.
• Guests wishing to have breakfast in their room may order through room service, which will be charged accordingly.
• We kindly ask all guests to help us minimize food waste by taking only what they intend to eat; guests are welcome to return for additional servings as needed

Wi-Fi Access
Access to our Wi-Fi network is complimentary for all guests.

Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel assumes no liability or responsibility for the security, performance, or use of the internet connection.

In Case of Emergency or Fire

• Please notify the Front Desk immediately in the event of a fire or other emergency.
• An evacuation map showing emergency exits is posted on the back of your room door.

Lost & Found Policy

Umm Al Quwain Beach Hotel Premises is not responsible for any lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or personal belongings. If you believe you have left behind an item of value, please contact us immediately via call or WhatsApp at +971 6 766 6647, and we will do our best to assist you in recovering it.

UAE National Dress Policy

• Guests are allowed to wear the UAE national dress (kandura) daily at our resort premises, except during scheduled events at Lumi Beach — held every Saturday, Sunday, and on public holidays from October to June — during which kandura is not permitted.
• This policy is implemented to uphold the cultural ambiance at events, which may include DJs, music, and alcohol.
